Klima
Location: 4 km south of Plaka
Description: Klima is a small, picturesque, seaside village which is famous for its “syrmata”(wires). “Syrmata” are small, white houses with big colourful wooden doors, which in older years were used by fishermen during the winter to shelter their boats, but these days they are mostly used as holiday homes. In 1820, in a field near the village, the Venus of Milos and the statue of Praxiteles were found accidentally.
